Simon Willison drew the line more clearly: “I won’t commit any code to my repository if I couldn’t explain exactly what it does to somebody else.” Willison treats LLMs as “an over-confident pair programming assistant” that makes mistakes “sometimes subtle, sometimes huge” with complete confidence.
